Description

Think of a roll of camera film, a strip filled with still images used when editing footage on a computer, or the one-dimensional strings of superstring theory. This work was created by imagining a strip that emerges from the fabric of space-time and eventually returns to it, while leveraging the unique property of acrylic paint―the way its resin particles fuse together during the drying process. A single roll of 35mm film is embedded within the first piece of the series.
