About the series
From the series 3 Cuerpos (Solo show, IFAL Gallery, Mexico City, 2013, curated by Patricia Martín; presented in tandem with Formas y Colores at Filux Festival, Casa de Francia, Mexico City).
The "three-body problem" is one of many dilemmas within chaos theory. The interaction of two bodies and their forces can be resolved simply; the action of a third body creates a chaotic dynamic — not in the sense of disorder, but in terms of evolution over time. Based on these theories, Alexandre Ferdinand Maubert makes variations on elements representative of Mexican identity, activating the movement of forces to create a chaotic dynamic in Mexico's historic urban landscapes. — Patricia Martín

シリーズ「3 Cuerpos（三体）」（IFALギャラリー、メキシコシティ、2013年の個展、キュレーション：パトリシア・マルティン。同時期にフィルックス祭、カサ・デ・フランシアにて「Formas y Colores」展も開催）より。
「三体問題」はカオス理論のなかの多くの難題の一つである。二つの物体と、それらの力の相互作用は単純に解くことができる。しかし第三の物体の作用は、無秩序という意味ではなく、時間的な展開という意味においてカオス的なダイナミクスを生み出す。
こうした理論を踏まえ、アレクサンドル・フェルディナンド・モベールはメキシコのアイデンティティを象徴する要素に変化を加え、力の運動を起動させることで、メキシコの歴史的な都市景観のなかにカオス的なダイナミクスを生み出す。
