※ Due to popular demand, the exhibition period has been extended until March 16, 2014. In this exhibition, I made works focusing on the brushstroke that appears within the setting of a certain time (a limited time). Concretely, I take the method of applying a large amount of layered paint to the part that becomes the ground, as it appears in the relationship between figure and ground in a single picture, and finishing the drawing before that paint has completely dried. Another characteristic is that I use a restricted range of colors so that the movement of the brushstrokes and the thickness of the paint are easy to see. The aim of this process is to examine, from the movement and accumulation of brushstrokes, a time that cannot be quantified.
