Jean-Luc Vilmouth. Born in France in 1952, lives in Paris. Graduated from the RCA (Royal College of Art). One of the most closely watched artists on the international stage of contemporary art, he has shown at large international exhibitions such as 'documenta 7' (Kassel) in '82, the Sydney Biennale and the Venice Biennale. In 1997 he held the solo exhibition 「魅惑のバー」 at Spiral, and in 2003 he also took part in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, creating 'Café Reflet' in Matsudai. He currently teaches at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts (Beaux-Arts) in Paris. He has also shown in 'Animal Public' (Kunstverein, Bonn) in '94, 'Tempo' (MoMA, New York) in '02, 'Jungle Science' (Aline Vidal, Paris) in '09 and elsewhere. His conceptual yet imaginative works captivate those who see them. This time we exhibit WALL DRAWING, photographic works and more that, while highly conceptual, appeal directly to the emotions.
